ఉగాది రోజున ఏం చేయాలి?*_  ఉగాది ఈ నెల 18వ తారీఖున వస్తోంది. ఉగాదిని సంవత్సరాది అని కూడా అంటారని తెలిసిందే. ఉగాది రోజున వేకువ జామున బ్రహ్మ ముహూర్తంలో తలకు నూనె పట్టించి తలంటు స్నానం చేయాలి. పర్వదినాలలో తైలంలో లక్ష్మీదేవి, నీటిలో గంగాదేవి నివాసం ఉంటారట. అందుకని ఆ రోజులలో తలకు నూనె రాసుకొని తలంటుస్నానం చేస్తే లక్ష్మీదేవి, గంగా మాతల అనుగ్రహం పొందుతామని పెద్దలు చెప్తారు. నూతన వస్త్రాలు కట్టుకొని, తర్వాత ఇల్లు శుభ్రం చేసుకొని, మామిడి తోరణాలు కట్టుకొని, పూజకు కావల్సినవి సిద్ధం చేసుకోవాలి. గడపకు పసుపు రాసి, బొట్టు పెట్టుకోవాలి. మన ఇష్ట దైవాన్ని పూజించాలి. తులసి చెట్టుకు పూజ చేయాలి. లక్ష్మీదేవికి, విష్ణుమూర్తికి తులసీదళాల మాల సమర్పించుకోవాలి. మన ఇష్టదైవాన్ని తులసి దళంతో అష్టోత్తరం చేయాలి. ఉగాది రోజున ప్రత్యేక ప్రసాదం ఆరు రుచులు కలిగిన అంటే పులుపు, చేదు, తీపి, ఉప్పు, కారం, వగరుతో ఉగాది పచ్చడి చేసి దేవునికి నివేదన ఇవ్వాలి. మనస్సులో దైవాన్ని నివేదన స్వీకరించి ఆయన ఉచ్చిష్టాన్ని ప్రసాదించమని వేడుకోవాలి. తర్వాత హారతి ఇచ్చి సాష్టాంగ నమస్కారం చేయాలి. ఈ పూజ విదానం అంతా భక్తిశ్రద్ధలత

At a distance of 35 km from Trichy, Sri Brahmapureeswar Temple is one of the rare temples dedicated to Lord Brahma situated at Thirupattur. While this is predominantly a Shiva temple, it is very closely associated with Lord Brahma. Devotees believed that a person can change his fate by seeking blessings at Brahmapureeswarar Temple.
