Udi can cure

June 27th

“Udi can cure any and everything”

In 2003 Rahul was a young lad of about 18 years and resided in Korhale, and looked after the Sai Baba temple there. His duty was to take care of the pilgrims that came to the temple at night. That summer at about 8 p.m. he was walking back to the temple when he was bitten by something. As the village is infested by scorpions he thought it was a scorpion bite. There was intense pain and burning in his foot. Just then Prasant his friend walked by and saw him groaning with pain. Presuming it was a scorpion bite he took him to an Indian Shaman, who could heal him by his spells and incantations.

Thus two hours passed but the pain became excruciating and the foot became blue. Prasant who worked in the Primary Health Center realized that he may loose his foot so he brought him to Shirdi. Immediately he called Sada and both of them got Rahul admitted into Sainath Hospital Intensive Care Unit. The blood result was positive for Viper Venom, where did such a rare and dangerous snake come from?

To make a long story short, Rahul was given the Anti Venom shots, but Rahul’s condition worsened by the hour. The doctor finally shook his head and said, “He won’t make it as paralysis has set in, he is incoherent and is loosing consciousness. Only a miracle can help him, also inform his parents of his condition” Sada replied, “Doctor Baba’s Udi can cure anything and everything, and Baba will save him”. Meanwhile Rahul had become cold, clammy with a very feeble pulse. Sada got a handful of Udi from home and vigorously rubbed it on his entire body. The whole night he sat at his bedside and prayed. At about 5 a.m. he fell asleep and he felt someone patting him and asking him to get up, it was Rahul. He was sitting in bed, asking to be taken home.

A strange change occurred in Rahul, before the bite he was irresponsible and did not care for the temple. Since his recovery he turned into a responsible kind caring person. He says, “What can Baba’s Udi not do, it brought me back from death, and changed me so much that I often wonder if I am the same Rahul”

Ref as witnessed by Sada and Prasant.

Srimad Bhagavatam gives example:

An eye opener!

After Kurukshetra war, Dhritrarashtra asked Krishna, “I had 100 sons. All of them were killed. Why?
Krishna replied, “50 lifetimes ago, you were a hunter. While hunting, you tried to shoot a male bird. It flew away. In anger, you ruthlessly slaughtered the 100 baby birds in the nest. Father-bird had to watch in helpless agony.
Because you caused that father-bird the pain of seeing the death of his 100 sons, you too had to bear the pain of your 100 sons dying.
Dhritarastra said, “Ok, but why did I have to wait for fifty lifetimes?”
Krishna answered, “You were accumulating punya (pious credits) during the last fifty lifetimes to get 100 sons - because that requires a lot of punya. Then you got the reaction for the papa (sin) that you have done fifty lifetimes ago.”
Krishna says in the Bhagavad-gita (4.17) "gahana karmano gatih". The way in which action and reaction works is very complex. God knows best which reaction has to be given at what time in what condition. Therefore, some reaction may come in this lifetime, some in the next and some in a distant future lifetime.
There is a saying, “The mills of God grind slow; but, they grind exceedingly fine.” So, every single action will be accounted for, sooner or later.
Srimad Bhagavatam gives example: if we have a cowshed with 1000 calves and if we leave a mother cow there, she will easily find out where her calf is among those thousands. She has this mystical ability.
Similarly, our karma will find us among the millions on this planet. There may be thousands going on the road but only one meets with an accident. It is not by chance, it’s by karma.
Thus, the law of karma works exceedingly fine; it may be slow to act, but no one can escape. Jai sairam www.saisaranam.in jai shree krishna

Saints manifest themselves for the good of others and without the help of the womb

Saints manifest themselves for the good of others and without the help of the womb.  To these avatars, the states of birth and death never come.

At every step, you would tell us that "When you speak slightingly to someone, I instantly feel the pain." But we never heeded your words.

To those without faith he is invisible. To the faithful devotees, he appears wherever they may be. As their natural inclination, so is their actual experience.

Because of Sai and Sai alone, that Shirdi had santity; because of him, Shirdi had a character of its own. It was because of Sai alone, that it became a place of pilgrimage. It was Sai alone, who was the shelter for all.

Baba control over the elements

Here is an incident showing Baba's control over the elements..

Once, there was a terrible storm at Shiridi. The sky was overcast with black clouds and winds began to blow with great force, clouds roared and lightening began to flash and rains started pouring in torrents. In a Short time the whole place was flooded with water. All creatures, birds, beasts and men flocked to Masjid for shelter. There are many local Deities in Shiridi but none came for rescue. So, they all prayed to Baba(their God) to intercede and quell the storm. Baba came out and standing at the edge of Masjid, addressed the Storm, " Stop, stop your fury and be calm!"
In a few minutes the rains subsided, and the storm stopped.
This is our Sai, an Incarnation of God.. He will bless any man, who will prostrate and surrender himself to Him.

Naraharisonar, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, lived in Pandaripuram. Though living in Pandaripuram he had never once visited Pandarinathan's temple.

Stories - Naraharisonar
Naraharisonar, an ardent devotee of Lord Shiva, lived in Pandaripuram. Though living in Pandaripuram he had never once visited Pandarinathan's temple. He held the principle of not to look at any god but Lord Shiva. However, the chant of Lord Hari's names always echoed throughout Pandaripuram. Naraharisonar had tied two bells to his ears to avoid the chant falling in his ears. The moment he learnt of anyone chanting "Hari" he would ring the two bells tied to his ears and thus ensured that the name of Lord Hari did not fall in his ears.
In this Pandaripuram there was a dilapidated Shiva temple. Daily he would go there and conduct abishekha, pooja and offer naivedya. He felt saddened that none in this Pandaripuram bothered about his Lord Shiva. Seeing the dilapidated state of the temple he used to weep out of grief.
Naraharisonar was a very smart goldsmith. Once a very rich man who was childless vowed to offer a gold kavacha to Lord Panduranga if he were to be blessed with a child. As his prayer was answered, to fulfil the vow he had taken, he looked out for a goldsmith who could make the best kavacha. As everyone recommended Naraharisonar he approached him for this purpose.
But, Naraharisonar bluntly refused to make the jewel for Lord Panduranga who was none other than Lord Vishnu. The rich man, however, pleaded with Naraharisonar,"You need not enter the temple. I shall bring the measurement for the jewel. You can make it accordingly. If you would make this jewel I shall renovate the Shiva temple and conduct its kumbabishekha." Just on this condition Naraharisonar agreed to make the jewel. He made the jewel to the exact measurement provided, but when it was offered to Lord Panduranga it turned out to be very small. The measurement was taken once again and the jewel remade and offered. And this time it turned out to be too big. The temple priests then declared that the goldsmith himself should come and take the measurement for the jewel.
Naraharisonar stubbornly refused to enter the temple premises. But then he was somehow pacified by the others. He said,"whatever happens my feet should not touch the temple ground. Never will I look at Panduranga with these eyes". Blindfolding him,two persons carried him upto Panduranga in a dholi (palanquin). It was then decided that he should take the measurement for the jewel by feeling Panduranga with his hands. When at first he touched Panduranga's head he felt the matted hair, the flow of the Ganga and the crescent moon. "Aha", he said,"isn't this Lord Shiva whom I worship?" He quickly untied the cloth. But the great Magician Panduranga stood there with his two hands held at the waist and and an enchanting smile playing on his lips. Naraharisonar quickly tied up the cloth to his eyes and touched the chest only to feel the rudraksha and the garland of skeletons. He once again untied the cloth only to see Panduranga.
As this occurred over and over again the knowledge dawned on Naraharisonar that it was only Lord Hari Himself who was present in everything.

The blindfolded Narahari took a thread to measure Vitthal’s waist and began his work. But while touching Vitthal’s body he felt Vitthal wearing tigerskin as his garment. This made him curious. Then he held his hands and felt the deer, axe, trishul, agni, drum and all of Shiva’s paraphernalia and this made him very suspicious. He even felt rudraksha mala around  his neck, cresent and Ganges on his head ,his third eye on his forehead  and snakes over his body. Having felt all this his suspicion made him so anxious and he wanted to have darshan of Vitthal as he was almost sure of seeing lord Shiva. The very next moment he removed his blindfold with great expectancy but he was utterly disappointed to see lord Vishnu instead of lord Shiva. At first he felt as if he had made a grave mistake. Immediately he closed his eyes with his hands, but he felt lord Shiva’s presence in front of him. He then understood this leela of god and he prostrated in front of lord Vitthal.
Narahari immediately bursted out crying , Oh Vitthala, ”please forgive me, I have done a great mistake all my life due to my ignorance. I didn’t realize Hari and Shiva are the same. I will have to forsake moksha for my fanatic attitude and the sin I have committed. ”Then a voice was heard from the sanctum sanctorum” this leela was performed to show to all through you that there is absolutely no difference between Vishnu and Shiva who are both aspects of the same Parabhramam”. Narahari was excited with what he heard and the realization that he had and with great love offered the waistband to the lord and it fitted perfectly. From then on, Narahari became devoted to Vitthal whom he realized was Hari &  Shiva  in one form. In one of his abangs on Vitthal he says “it is immaterial to me whether this deity is Shiva or Vishnu, all I seek is your unconditional love and grace oh Vitthal”.
